Italy – High speed railway connection Milano-Bologna E-mail


Executive project for the high speed railway connection Milan-Bologna / Section Milan-Parma building lots n° 1.1 – 1.2 – 1.3 – 1.4 – 2.1 and 4A in the province of Modena.

The most important element is the bridge on the Po river, 400 metres long, built by means of a concrete scaffoldings reinforced and pre-compressed, with foundation plinths that are 70 metres high.

The project history and the commitment of Grandi Lavori Fincosit

Through an agreement signed on October 1991 the relationship between the TAV S.p.A. and ENI/Cepav Uno was born, for the construction of the section Milan – Bologna of the high speed railway line Milan – Naples.
The administrative and technical process before the starting of the works ended on March 2000 with the signing of an agreement between the TAV, CEPAV UNO and ITALFERR setting the preliminary conditions for the construction of the section Milan-Bologna.
The most important aspects are represented by the 4.764 millions of euros being allocated (net of the monetary adjustment) and the 69 months needed for the realization of the projects.
Grandi Lavori Fincosit S.p.A, being part of the Cooperative CEPAV UNO with a share of 13,70%, has been organizing its own operating structures for a long time for the realization of the above mentioned works that concern, at present, the Piacenza area.
Besides that, Grandi Lavori Fincosit S.p.A. has signed a number of agreements with other members of the Cooperative for the joint implementation of other works. As a whole, the Company will deal with 20% of the project in the next years.
