Whether it’s a centre for the wholesale market, or an inter-modal centre, or a centre for the production activities, every initiative aiming at providing the service sector with a number of big infrastructures implies different levels of interventions such as the feasibility studies, the design, the financing and the building. The experience of GRANDI LAVORI FINCOSIT SpA, leader in the technologies aimed at building big centres for the service sector, enabled to design and build a very good pattern of buildings, thanks to very good logistic services and technical tools. A number of preparations to enable the following integrations and customized interventions have been added to the original structures. Thus the buildings become the best possible structures and the best architectonical model for the activities of the advanced service sector.
CENTRE FOR THE WHOLESALE MARKET – NOLA – NAPLES (1 of 3)
The C.I.S. was built on a fully urbanized area of 583.000 square meters and it’s divided into 6 islands with four or five buildings each, developed around a service centre for each single island. The surface of the commercial buildings is 220.000 square meters wide and it is divided in 200 units. The C.I.S. of Nola enables to improve the wholesale centres from the technological point of view. GRANDI LAVORI FINCOSIT SpA, besides offering its own know-how, has build the 27 stores of the centre and has designed all the other works. The cooperation with the local entrepreneurs shows what kind of areas can be built through the combination of all experiences aiming at reaching the same final goal.

S.C.A.B. – FOOD CENTRE – BOLOGNA
The public market is a block of different types of buildings for the storing, preservation and distribution of products.
The buildings of the public market are linked by a common unit to which a number of urban works have been added to equip an area of 312.000 square meters.
There are nine big buildings, on a surface of 118.000 square meters and a directional area with a building of 36.000 square meters. To that, 4 buildings have been added.
GRANDI LAVORI FINCOSIT SpA together with other companies completed these works in 24 months.
DIAMANTE – CENTRE FOR THE WHOLESALE MARKET – FERRARA
The centre covers an urban area of 171.000 square meters and is made of 4 buildings dedicated to service, with a total usable surface of 46.000 square meters.
The centre “Diamante” of Ferrara can be classified as belonging to the second generation of wholesale centres constructed by GRANDI LAVORI FINCOSIT SpA. The aim of this kind of centres is to become a sort of collecting point for the distribution and exhibition of great quantities of goods.
TECNOCENTER – MULTIFUNCTIONAL CENTRE OF CASTELNUOVO di PORTO
With a surface of 158.000 usable square meters, in an urban area of 470.000 square meters, the TECNOCENTER is an important project to qualify the LAVORI FINCOSIT SpA. The TECNOCENTER was thought and designed as a multifunctional centre.
The experience of GRANDI LAVORI FINCOSIT SpA, leader in modern technologies for the building of centres for the service sector, enabled to design and build a very good pattern of buildings, thanks to a number of very good logistic services and technical tools. Thus the buildings become the best possible structures and the best architectonical model for the activities of the advanced service sector.
CENTERGROSS – WHOLESALE TRADE CENTRE OF BOLOGNA – BOLOGNA (1 of 2)
It was built on an area of a million square meters. It is made of 41 warehouses with a usable surface of 360.000 square meters and a service building that is 800 metres long and has a surface of 65.000 square meters.
From the construction point of view, the warehouses of Centergross were built using prefabricated concrete materials, studied and prepared according to the construction system GRANDI LAVORI FINCOSIT SpA.

INGROMARKET – WOLESALE TRADE CENTER – SESTO FIORENTINO – FLORENCE
It was built on an urban area of 270.000 square meters. It is made of eight warehouses with a usable surface of 116.000 square meters on 75.000 covered square meters. “On the road” agreement, entirely assigned to GRANDI LAVORI FINCOSIT SpA.
NEW PRODUCTION AND DIRECTIONAL CENTRE BELONGING TO THE COMPANY SPORTSWEAR INTERNATIONAL S.P.A
(industrial area of Schio - Vicenza ) Office block. The basement is developed on three levels and it is dedicated to the production activities.
NEW FOOD AND AGRICULTURE CENTRE OF ROME (1 of 3)
Civil and structural works, installations for the new Food and Agriculture centre of Rome. The building stretches on a surface of 1.400.000 square meters. The surface used for the buildings and the shops is 120.000 square meters wide, with a total used surface of 140.000 square meters and a total volume of 870.000 cubic meters. The area hosts the following buildings: Directional Centre, the Hall, Cash and Carry, Centre for the gathering and selection of wastes, personnel’s cloakrooms, Vegetables market, the Fish market, Cold stores, Maintenance, distribution and shipping, wholesale distribution, Centre for the selection of solid wastes. All the works regarding the road network in the area, the car parks, the areas for the loading and downloading of products, the green areas and the urban furnishing are included in the Agreeement.

TECHNICAL AND DIRECTIONAL CENTRE OF THE RAI SAXA RUBRA - ROME
The area was built on a surface of 6 hectares. It is made of 9 buildings and 450 thousand cubic meters of used materials, besides 35 thousands square meters for the car parks and it is dedicated to the new RAI studios.
Within this project, 2 buildings were made (building I and F) for about 110 thousand cubic meters.
